Dr. Mohit Anand — Consultant in Delhi NCR

Dr. Mohit Anand is Consultant in Neurology and Movement Disorders at Artemis Hospital in Delhi NCR, with more than 5 years of experience.

His list is led by the movement disorders in his title: Parkinson's disease and atypical parkinsonism, dystonia and tremor disorders, deep brain stimulation, botulinum toxin therapy and neuro rehabilitation for movement disorders. Alongside these he manages epilepsy and drug-resistant epilepsy with EEG, acute ischemic stroke with IV thrombolysis, post-stroke neurological care and neuropathic pain.

He read MBBS at the University College of Medical Sciences in New Delhi with distinctions in multiple subjects, including physiology and pharmacology, took his MD in internal medicine at Lady Hardinge Medical College, and his DM in neurology at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences. His post-DM fellowship in movement disorders was at Artemis Hospital in Gurugram, where he now practises.

A dedicated fellowship after the DM is what narrows a general neurology training to the movement disorders his post is named for, and it explains a list on which deep brain stimulation and botulinum toxin appear rather than being referred elsewhere.

He received a Presidential Gold Medal and a Department of Biotechnology scholarship in 2008 for scoring 100 percent in biology in his twelfth standard, won the north zone Torrent Young Scholars Award in neurology in 2021, and presented an abstract and poster at the American Thyroid Association Conference in 2017.

He is a member of the Indian Academy of Neurology, the Movement Disorder Society International and its Indian body, the Delhi Neurological Association, the Indian Association of Physicians and the Indian Medical Association.
