Dr. Sushma Sharma

Dr. Sushma Sharma is a senior neurologist with more than 19 years of clinical experience, currently serving as Programme Clinical Director – Neurology at Marengo Asia Hospitals in Faridabad. Over the course of her career, she has built a strong reputation for managing complex neurological conditions — from stroke and epilepsy to movement disorders and neuro-immunological diseases — with a level of precision and care that patients and families genuinely feel.

Her academic foundation is rigorous. Dr. Sharma completed her MBBS at Government Medical College, Jammu, followed by an MD in General Medicine from Government Medical College, Srinagar. She then pursued her DM in Neurology at JIPMER, Puducherry — one of India's most respected postgraduate institutions — and holds a DNB in Neurology from the National Board of Examinations. She has also earned specialist certifications in Electroencephalography (EEG) and Vestibular Medicine, including an International Diploma from AVISA, placing her among a small group of neurologists globally with this level of vestibular subspecialty training.

Throughout her career, Dr. Sharma has held senior roles at well-known hospitals across the Delhi-NCR region, including Apollo Hospital New Delhi, Fortis Escorts Hospital, Asian Institute of Medical Sciences, and Metro Heart Institute — where she served as Director and Head of Neurology. She is credited with introducing advanced treatments such as USG-guided Botulinum Toxin Therapy and Mechanical Thrombectomy in the Faridabad region, and with establishing the area's first dedicated Vertigo and Balance Disorders Unit.
