Dr. Mohamed Salah Ahmed Gamea

Dr. Mohamed Salah Ahmed Gamea is a specialist neurologist with 11 years of clinical experience. He completed his medical degree at Tanta University, Egypt in 2002, followed by neurology training at Al Sahel Teaching Hospital in 2010 and a Master's degree in neuroscience from Cairo University in 2011.

Dr. Gamea began his medical career in Cairo at respected hospitals and maintained a private practice before relocating to the United Arab Emirates in 2015. In Abu Dhabi's Al Dhafra region, he pioneered acute stroke management protocols and established the region's first neurophysiology unit. He also introduced comprehensive treatment and follow-up services for multiple sclerosis patients and served as a representative on the Department of Health stroke committee.

Since joining Burjeel Medical City Abu Dhabi in 2022, Dr. Gamea has earned specialist certification in multiple sclerosis from the Consortium of Multiple Sclerosis Centers (USA) in 2023. He is an active researcher with publications in international neurology journals and holds membership in the European Academy of Neurology and the World Stroke Organization. His clinical expertise encompasses stroke, multiple sclerosis, headache disorders, neuromuscular conditions, and epilepsy.
