Mr. Balamanigandan Jaganathan

Mr. Balamanigandan Jaganathan is Head of Physiotherapy at Burjeel Medical City, Abu Dhabi, with a specialist focus on neurological and musculoskeletal rehabilitation. He graduated from Dr. MGR Medical University and the National Institute of Rehabilitation Training and Research, completing postgraduate study in rehabilitation before establishing himself as an independent researcher and clinical team lead at the Revive Rehabilitation (Robotic Assisted Therapy) Center in Chennai.

In 2014, Mr. Bala published research in the Journal of Neuro Rehabilitation. He relocated to the UAE in 2014 and joined Burjeel Hospital as a Rehabilitation Therapist in 2015. He employs bio-physiological methodology for pain assessment and treatment, combining manual therapy, evidence-based exercise prescription, and chronic pain management strategies.

He holds advanced expertise in Maitland Manual Therapy and Dry Needling. His clinical experience spans adult neurological disorders, orthopedic conditions, and chronic pain management, with particular interest in education-centered and exercise-based rehabilitation, often enhanced by manual therapy and dry-needling techniques.
