Dr. Atta Ghassan Al Khaznaji is Head of the Neurology Department at Burjeel Medical City in Abu Dhabi. He holds an MBChB from Al Nahrain University, Iraq (1994) and the Iraqi Board in Neurology (FICMS) from the Iraqi Commission for Medical Specializations (2002). With 25 years of clinical experience, Dr. Atta has established expertise across multiple neurological disciplines.
Dr. Atta's international training spans the United Kingdom, where he undertook specialist neuroscience programmes at Charing Cross Hospital London, Queen's Medical Center at Nottingham University Hospital, and Nottingham City Hospital. His postgraduate experience includes clinical practice at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery and Queen Square Hospital in London, as well as paediatric neurology training at Hammersmith Hospital, where he managed cases of muscular dystrophy in children.
