Dr. Job Simon

Dr. Job Simon is a Consultant in Endocrinology at Burjeel Medical City in Abu Dhabi, bringing 21 years of clinical experience to the treatment of endocrine disorders and diabetes management. He holds Board Certification in Internal Medicine, Diabetes, and Endocrinology from the American Board of Medical Specialties.

Dr. Simon completed his medical training in India, earning his MBBS from Christian Medical College in 1991. He subsequently trained in the United States, completing a three-year Residency Program in Internal Medicine at Stonybrook University Hospital, State University of New York, followed by advanced fellowship training in Endocrinology and Metabolism at Winthrop University Hospital in New York.

His career has encompassed subspecialist roles across multiple continents. In 2002, he undertook specialized training in endocrine oncology, thyroid cancer, and nuclear medicine at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York. He has worked as a Consultant Endocrinologist at leading academic institutions, including the Mount Sinai School of Medicine's Center of Excellence in Diabetes, and spent seven years as a Consultant Endocrinologist in a tertiary oncology referral center in Al Ain, UAE, where he managed thyroid oncology cases and evaluated patients for bariatric surgery. Prior to joining Burjeel, he served as Chief of the Endocrine Division at a major government hospital in Abu Dhabi.
