Prof. Ammori was the first to introduce the laparoscopic Whipple procedure in the United Kingdom. His clinical interests encompass bariatric surgery, hepatobiliary and pancreatic procedures, cancer resections, and the management of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD).
