Dr. Vinay Goyal

Dr. Vinay Goyal is one of India's most respected neurologists, with more than 35 years of experience caring for patients with complex neurological conditions. As Chairman of Neurology at the Institute of Neurosciences, Medanta – The Medicity in Gurugram, he leads one of the country's most advanced neurology programmes. His particular expertise spans movement disorders — including Parkinson's disease, dystonia, and tremor — as well as stroke management and epilepsy care.

Dr. Goyal trained in medicine at RNT Medical College, Udaipur, before pursuing his DM in Neurology at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, one of India's most prestigious institutions. He went on to build a long academic and clinical career within the AIIMS Department of Neurology, rising through the ranks to become a Professor — a journey that shaped both his clinical rigour and his deep commitment to teaching the next generation of neurologists. He has also served as President of the Movement Disorders Society of India, reflecting the respect his peers have for his work in this specialised field.
