Dr. Dua and his team have performed more than 1,200 transplants, with outcomes among the best in the field of paediatric haematology, oncology and BMT. He is particularly known for excellent results in paediatric unrelated and haploidentical stem cell transplants, and has carried out several rare transplants that nobody else has attempted in India.
He completed his MBBS and MD (Paediatrics) from PGIMS, Rohtak, followed by senior residency in the Department of Paediatrics in Rohtak and Delhi. He pursued his Fellowship of National Board (FNB) in Paediatric Hematology Oncology from Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi — graduating as Best Outgoing Fellow — and an advanced fellowship in Paediatric Bone Marrow Transplant from the National University Hospital (NUH), Singapore. He further completed an outreach programme in Paediatric BMT at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, USA. He is a visiting faculty at multiple national and international universities.
