Dr. Shirish Hastak

Dr. Shirish Hastak is one of India's most respected neurologists, with more than four decades of experience in treating complex conditions of the brain and nervous system. Based in Mumbai, he currently serves as Regional Director of Neurology, Stroke, and Neurocritical Care at Gleneagles Hospital, Parel, and also works with leading institutions including Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital and Lilavati Hospital. His name is most closely associated with stroke care — a field he has helped shape in India from the ground up.

Dr. Hastak's training spans some of the most rigorous programmes available. He holds an MBBS, MD, and DM in Neurology, along with an E.C.F.M.G. qualification and a dedicated Stroke Fellowship from Western University of Canada in London, Ontario.
