Dr. Shahid Rashid

Dr. Shahid Rashid is a Specialist Pediatric Surgeon with over four decades of dedicated clinical experience in the surgical care of children and newborns. He completed his medical degree in Pakistan in 1983 and obtained his Master of Surgery in 1992, followed by Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of Glasgow (FRCS) in 1998.

Dr. Rashid began his professional career in various healthcare settings in Pakistan before relocating to the United Arab Emirates in 1994, where he joined the Ministry of Health as a pediatric surgeon. He has since transitioned to the private healthcare sector, where he has worked for the past 11 years, delivering specialized surgical expertise to infants and children.

His clinical practice encompasses a broad range of pediatric and neonatal surgical conditions, with particular focus on minimally invasive techniques, pediatric urology, abdominal surgical pathology, and acute pediatric and neonatal emergencies. Dr. Rashid is recognized for his patient-centered approach and commitment to delivering high-standard surgical care to his young patients and their families.
