Dr. Adel Aljneibi

Dr. Adel Aljneibi is a Consultant in Pediatric Surgery, Pediatric Urology, and Head of Department at Burjeel Medical City, Abu Dhabi. With 22 years of clinical experience, he specialises in paediatric and neonatal minimal invasive surgery, bringing internationally recognised expertise to the region.

Dr. Aljneibi trained extensively across Europe, obtaining his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Pharmaceutics "Carol Davila" in Bucharest, Romania, and completing German Board specialisation in Pediatric Surgery at the Sick Children's Hospital in Cologne, Germany. He advanced his paediatric urology expertise as a Clinical Fellow and Researcher at Great Ormond Street Hospital, London.

Recognised as a pioneer in neonatal and paediatric minimal invasive surgery, Dr. Aljneibi founded the reconstructive fetoscopic surgical approach for myelomeningocele repair and has established paediatric MIS units in multiple countries. He performs over 100 minimal invasive procedures annually and has served as President of the Gulf Endoscopic Pediatric Surgery and Urology Group. A core instructor for the IRCAD Strasbourg MIS education programme, he has been invited to conduct live surgical demonstrations at more than 50 international hands-on workshops.
