Dr. Natalia Rivera

Dr. Natalia Rivera is a general surgeon with over 12 years of clinical experience managing surgical conditions across general, gastrointestinal, and trauma specialties. She brings expertise in laparoscopic and open surgical techniques, complex abdominal wall reconstruction, and advanced hernia repair strategies, alongside specialized knowledge in colorectal and anorectal conditions.

Throughout her career, Dr. Rivera has worked in established medical institutions, including a government hospital in Abu Dhabi and Corporación Hospitalaria Juan Ciudad – Méderi in Colombia. Her clinical focus encompasses trauma surgery, acute surgical management, soft tissue mass excision, wound care, and pilonidal sinus treatment, with particular emphasis on achieving both functional and aesthetic outcomes.

Beyond direct patient care, Dr. Rivera is committed to surgical education and training. She holds certification as an Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) Instructor and has mentored residents and medical students in trauma management and minimally invasive surgical techniques. She maintains active involvement in clinical research, with published work in international peer-reviewed journals on surgical outcomes and perioperative care.
