Dr. Muhammad Saleem Arshad

Dr. Muhammad Saleem Arshad is a Consultant in General and Laparoscopic Surgery at Burjeel Medical City in Abu Dhabi. He brings over two decades of clinical experience across general surgery, trauma management, and emergency care, developed through successive roles in Pakistan and the Gulf region.

Dr. Arshad completed his Medical Degree from Nishtar Medical College in Multan and undertook General Surgery residency training at Shaikh Zayed Hospital (affiliated with the Federal Post Graduate Medical Institute, Lahore) between 1998 and 2001. He went on to hold senior surgical positions at leading Pakistani hospitals, including Sir Ganga Ram Hospital where he served as Senior Registrar overseeing surgical and trauma emergencies, and Zakryia Hospital as a Specialist Surgeon.

Before joining Burjeel, Dr. Arshad spent four years as a Staff Physician in General Surgery, Trauma, and Emergency at Zayed Military Hospital. Throughout his career, he has remained engaged in clinical research and medical education, having taught medical students and surgical residents at Fatima Jinnah Medical College from 2002 to 2007.
