Dr. Mohamed Farouk

Dr. Mohamed Farouk is a Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon with specialization in shoulder and upper limb surgery, currently practicing at Burjeel Medical City, Abu Dhabi. He brings 20 years of clinical experience spanning orthopedic trauma, emergency care, and general orthopedic surgery across Egypt and the UAE.

Dr. Farouk holds a Bachelor of Medicine (MBMCh) from Ain Shams University, Egypt, and earned his Master of Science in Orthopedic and Trauma Surgery from the same institution. He is board-certified in Orthopedic Surgery and holds fellowship status with the Association for the Study of Internal Fixation (AO). He also maintains certifications in Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS).

His career began in 2006 as an Orthopedic and Trauma Resident at Al-Helal Hospital in Egypt, followed by a specialist role at Arab Contractors Medical Center from 2011. He advanced to Specialist in Orthopedics and Trauma in 2012 and relocated to the UAE in 2013. Dr. Farouk is fluent in English and Arabic.
