Dr. Krishnaveni Nayini — Senior Consultant in Hyderabad

Dr. Krishnaveni Nayini is a Senior Consultant at Yashoda Hospitals, Hi-Tech City, Hyderabad, with more than 26 years of experience in obstetrics and gynaecology and in infertility and IVF.

Her clinical work covers the conditions that bring most women to a gynaecologist. She manages abnormal uterine bleeding and post-menopausal bleeding, uterine fibroids, ovarian cysts, endometriosis and chronic pelvic pain, and provides menopause management. In theatre she performs hysterectomy, laparoscopic hysterectomy and laparoscopic myomectomy, ovarian cyst surgery and endometriosis surgery.

Much of her career was built in the United Kingdom. She qualified MBBS at BLDE Medical College in 2000 and took her DGO at Kurnool Medical College in 2003, became a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in 2006, and completed her CCT in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 2015. She was elected FRCOG in 2019. Along the way she collected certifications in family planning, pelvic ultrasound and IUI with the BFS, and advanced training modules in labour ward practice, in subfertility and reproductive health, and in benign gynaecology hysteroscopy. She also holds BSCCP certification and a laparoscopic and robotic surgeon fellowship in reproductive medicine. She has worked at Royal Derby Hospital and Wrexham Maelor Hospital, and in Hyderabad at Ankura Hospital and Fernandez Hospital.

She belongs to the RCOG, the British Society of Gynaecology and Endoscopy and the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Health. Undergraduate gold medals in biochemistry, anatomy and pathology were followed by the Dr. R P Soonawala Obstetrics Award for best paper at the 32nd AICC RCOG Annual Conference in Delhi.
