About Dr. Jisoon Park
Dr. Jisoon Park is a Consultant in Orthopedic Surgery with specialist focus on shoulder and upper limb conditions at Burjeel Medical City, Abu Dhabi. He also serves as Director of the Korean Practice. With over 15 years of clinical experience, Dr. Park brings extensive training and international expertise to orthopedic care.
Dr. Park completed his medical degree in South Korea followed by five years of residency and fellowship training in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Seoul National University Hospital (SNUH). Early in his career, he served as a Military Doctor with the 201 Special Forces in South Korea for three years and held the position of Clinical Professor at Korea University Anam Hospital.
Prior to joining Burjeel, Dr. Park worked as a Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon and Head of Department in leading government and private healthcare institutions across the UAE. He is fluent in both Korean and English, and contributes to the international medical community as a reviewer for peer-reviewed journals.
