Dr. Jayakrishnan Narayana Kurup

Dr. Jayakrishnan Narayana Kurup is a Specialist Orthopedic Surgeon with expertise in hand and wrist surgery. He completed his medical degree (MBBS) at T.D. Medical College, Alleppey, India, followed by a Master's in Orthopedics (MS Orthopedics) from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, India in 2015. He also obtained his Diplomate of the National Board (DNB Orthopedics) in 2015 and completed a Clinical Fellowship in Hand and Reconstructive Microsurgery at National University Hospital, Singapore in 2018.

Dr. Jayakrishnan holds Fellowship status with the European Board of Hand Surgery (EBHS). With 11 years of clinical experience, he has worked as an Assistant Professor in Orthopedics at a tertiary care referral center in India until 2020. He is an active contributor to orthopedic literature with multiple publications in international peer-reviewed journals and serves on the editorial boards of established orthopedic journals.

His clinical focus encompasses upper limb procedures including hand, wrist, and elbow surgeries; peripheral nerve and tendon reconstruction; pediatric orthopedic conditions of the upper and lower limbs; and straightforward and complex trauma and sports injury management. Dr. Jayakrishnan is fluent in English, Malayalam, Kannada, Urdu, and Tamil.
