Dr. Hazem Zedan Hassouna

Dr. Hazem Zedan Hassouna is a Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon with 25 years of international clinical experience. He holds an MB BCh BAO from the National University of Ireland, Galway, and has completed advanced postgraduate training including a Master's degree in Orthopaedics from University College London and the prestigious FRCS (Tr & Orth) qualification from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland.

Dr. Hassouna specializes in lower limb orthopedic surgery, with particular expertise in hip and knee arthroplasty, ligament reconstruction, and complex trauma cases. He is a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (MRCSI) and has completed dedicated fellowships in lower limb arthroplasty and knee surgery. Throughout his career, he has held consultant positions across leading healthcare institutions in the UK and Ireland.

Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Hassouna maintains an active academic profile, contributing to peer-reviewed orthopedic literature and participating in national and international professional meetings. He is fluent in English and Arabic and currently practices at Burjeel Medical City, Abu Dhabi.
