About Dr. Christopher Duke
Dr. Christopher Duke is a Consultant Pediatric Cardiologist with more than 20 years of clinical experience. He specializes in the management of congenital heart disease in both children and adults, with particular expertise in complex interventional procedures. Prior to joining Burjeel Medical City, Dr. Duke held a consultant position at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City in Abu Dhabi.
Dr. Duke's clinical interests encompass pediatric electrophysiology, pediatric cardiac catheterization and intervention, and interventional procedures in adults with congenital heart disease. He also has extensive experience in adult structural heart disease intervention. His practice addresses pediatric presentations including dizziness, syncope, palpitations, and family histories of sudden cardiac death.
Throughout his career in the UAE, Dr. Duke has pioneered several advanced interventional procedures, including ductal stenting, complex pulmonary artery stenting, transcatheter valve implantation, and hybrid surgical techniques. He performs radiofrequency ablation for pediatric tachycardia and manages pacemaker implantation and monitoring in children.
