Dr. Arvinder Singh Soin is the Chairman of Liver Transplant at Medanta – The Medicity, Gurugram, and is widely regarded as one of the foremost liver transplant surgeons in the world. With over 36 years of experience, he has performed more than 2,500 liver transplants — the highest number by any single surgeon in India — and maintains a 95% success rate, performing 25–30 successful transplants every month.

Dr. Soin and his team are credited with establishing liver transplantation as a clinical discipline in India. Over his career, he has also performed more than 12,000 other complex liver, gall bladder, and bile duct surgeries. His pioneering work spans from living donor liver transplants to paediatric liver transplants and ABO-incompatible transplants, and he has trained the majority of India's active liver transplant teams.
