What is Endoscopic Skull Base Surgery?
Endoscopic skull base surgery reaches the sella, anterior cranial base or related corridors through the nose, reconstructing the defect so brain and CSF stay sealed. An endonasal corridor is opened, the lesion addressed, and the skull-base defect reconstructed with grafts or a flap. A lumbar drain is used only if planned.
