What is Cholangioscopy?
Cholangioscopy uses a miniature camera passed through an ERCP endoscope to look directly inside the bile duct when fluoroscopy is not enough to manage stones or evaluate a stricture. After biliary access, the cholangioscope is advanced into the duct. Stones can be fragmented under vision and tissue sampled from a stricture.
