Holter monitoring is a non-invasive diagnostic test in which a small, portable ECG device is worn continuously for 24 hours to several days to record the heart's electrical activity during normal daily activity. It helps detect intermittent arrhythmias, unexplained palpitations, dizziness, or fainting episodes that may not show up on a standard resting ECG. The recorded data is later analyzed by a cardiologist to guide diagnosis and treatment planning.
