Dr. Yassir Mousa

Dr. Yassir Mousa is a Consultant Radiologist and Head of Department at Burjeel Medical City in Abu Dhabi. He brings 23 years of clinical experience, having commenced his radiology career in 2000 as a resident at Mansoura University Hospital. He subsequently spent six years at Mansoura University Oncology Center, developing deep expertise in oncology imaging.

Dr. Mousa holds an MBBCh and Master's degree in Radiology from Mansoura University, Egypt, and completed his Ph.D. in Radiology in 2012. His professional credentials include fellowships from the Egyptian Board of Radiology and the Arab Board of Diagnostic Radiology, alongside European Board of Radiology (EDiR) certification achieved in 2017. He relocated to the Gulf region in 2014 and joined Burjeel Hospital Abu Dhabi in 2016.

His clinical expertise spans general radiology with particular proficiency in oncology imaging, breast imaging, intra-operative imaging, gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary imaging, and musculoskeletal radiology. Dr. Mousa has contributed to medical education as a trainer of postgraduate candidates in Mansoura Medical College and the Egyptian Board of Radiology. He has authored multiple peer-reviewed papers in medical imaging journals.
