About Dr. Y. A. Nazer
Dr. Y. A. Nazer is a Consultant Cardiac Surgeon with more than four decades of clinical experience in cardiac surgery across India and the United Arab Emirates. He completed his medical degree at Thiruvananthapuram Medical College in Kerala, followed by advanced postgraduate training at the All-India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi, where he obtained his MS and MCh degrees.
Dr. Nazer undertook a four-year Fellowship in Cardiothoracic Surgery at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney, gaining expertise in advanced cardiac surgical techniques. He subsequently played a key role in establishing the Cardiac Surgical Unit of a government hospital in Abu Dhabi in 1994, drawing on his extensive surgical background.
He is fluent in English, Hindi, Malayalam, and Tamil, enabling him to communicate effectively with a diverse patient population. Dr. Nazer currently serves as a Consultant Cardiac Surgeon at Burjeel Medical City in Abu Dhabi.
