Dr. Wissam Al Jundi

Dr. Wissam Al Jundi is a Consultant Vascular Surgeon with 20 years of clinical experience, currently practicing at Burjeel Medical City, Abu Dhabi. Born in the UAE, he graduated with distinction from Jordan University of Science and Technology medical school in 2004 and completed extensive surgical training in South Yorkshire, UK, followed by fellowships in minimally invasive vascular procedures at Freeman Hospital in Newcastle and the University of Toronto Hospitals in Canada.

Beyond his clinical practice, Dr. Al Jundi holds advanced postgraduate qualifications including a Master of Science from Cardiff University, a Master of Education from Sheffield University, and an MBA from the University of East Anglia (UEA). He serves as a senior clinical lecturer and instructor at UEA and has authored numerous publications, including co-authorship of two best-selling postgraduate books in basic surgical training. In 2021, he was appointed Deputy Medical Director of Veincentre Ltd, the largest private provider of venous services in the UK.

His clinical expertise spans a broad spectrum of vascular diseases, with particular proficiency in complex endovascular aortic procedures, thoracic outlet syndrome diagnosis and treatment, and endovenous procedures for varicose veins. Fluent in English and Arabic, Dr. Al Jundi is committed to delivering exceptional patient care through contemporary clinical standards and evidence-based practice.
