Dr. Thanda Lucy Ann Joshua

Dr. Thanda Lucy Ann Joshua is a Specialist in Medical Oncology with 13 years of clinical experience in comprehensive cancer care. She holds a DM in Medical Oncology from the Cancer Institute (WIA) in Chennai, India, an institution recognised for advanced oncology training and patient-centred care. She completed her MD in General Medicine from Father Muller Medical College, Karnataka, in 2009, and her MBBS from Kasturba Medical College, Karnataka, in 2006.

Throughout her career, Dr. Joshua has held academic and clinical positions across leading Indian hospitals. She began as an Assistant Professor in general medicine, where she contributed to undergraduate medical education, before advancing to Senior Registrar roles in medicine and nephrology at Apollo Hospital. At the Cancer Institute (WIA) Chennai, she served as Assistant Professor following completion of her super-specialty degree, where she trained DM candidates, led research initiatives, and provided 24-hour patient care.

Dr. Joshua specialises in the management of breast, ovarian, cervical, lung, and colorectal cancers. Her clinical expertise encompasses chemotherapy daycare services, outpatient oncology care, oncological emergency management, and bone marrow transplantation. She is fluent in English, Malayalam, Tamil, and Kannada.
