Dr. Rushikesh Naik

Dr. Rushikesh Ashok Naik is a Consultant Diagnostic Radiologist at Burjeel Medical City in Abu Dhabi. He brings over 20 years of clinical experience and a strong background in diagnostic imaging, complemented by rigorous training across leading institutions in India and Europe.

Dr. Naik completed his MBBS at B.J. Medical College, University of Pune, followed by postgraduate training in Radiodiagnosis at Pushpagiri Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre, Kerala. He received the Diplomate of National Board (DNB) from the National Board of Examinations, New Delhi in 2009. His international credentials include the European Diploma in Radiology (EDiR) from Vienna in 2018 and Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists (FRCR) from London in 2019. He also holds the European Diploma in Gastrointestinal and Abdominal Radiology (EDGAR) from ESGAR, achieved in 2026.

Throughout his career, Dr. Naik has held academic positions as Assistant Professor at Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre (Kochi) and Bharati Vidyapeeth Medical College (Pune), where he trained undergraduate and postgraduate residents. He is active in FRCR teaching initiatives and served as a faculty examiner for the inaugural Radiology Comprehensive Clinical Examination in the UAE. He has authored numerous case reports and research papers, maintaining a focus on integrating academic excellence with comprehensive patient care.
