Dr. Rohit Lamba

Dr. Rohit Lamba is a highly experienced orthopaedic surgeon with 22 years in the field, specialising in joint preservation, robotic-assisted joint replacement, and the salvage of failed or infected joint replacements. He completed his Masters in Orthopaedics in 2008 and progressively developed expertise in knee and shoulder arthroscopic procedures, sports injury management, and complex hip and knee replacements.

For the past decade, Dr. Lamba has focused specifically on robotic-assisted hip and knee joint replacements, accumulating over 10,000 joint replacements and more than 4,000 arthroscopic procedures. His command of robotic technology enables him to deliver precise, reproducible implant positioning — directly reducing the risk of early implant failure, instability, and revision.

Dr. Lamba has pursued advanced international training actively: a fellowship at Helios Endoklinik, Hamburg, Germany (one of the world's highest-volume joint replacement centres) in single-stage revision for infected replacements; a clinical fellowship in hip preservation and hip arthroplasty at University Hospital Infanta Leonor, Madrid, Spain; the IAA-K T Dholakia Fellowship in Arthroplasty at Laud Clinic, Mumbai; and an observership in hip arthroscopy at Princess Alexandra Hospital, Harlow, UK. He is also co-author of a chapter in the ESSKA-published book Hip Preservation Surgery.

Dr. Lamba has worked at several leading hospitals in the Delhi-NCR region, including Fortis Memorial Research Institute and Artemis Hospital, Gurugram. He regularly treats international patients from Iraq, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and South Sudan, offering them world-class orthopaedic care that combines advanced robotic precision with deeply personalised rehabilitation planning.
