Dr. Harb Abubaraka

Dr. Harb Abubaraka is a German Board-certified Cardiologist and Interventional Cardiologist with over 15 years of clinical experience in both invasive and non-invasive cardiac care. He completed his medical degree in Egypt and subsequently undertook cardiology residency training in Germany, followed by specialized fellowships in cardiac MRI at Goethe University Hospital in Frankfurt and interventional cardiology at Harzkliniken under the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Kardiologie (DGK) curriculum.

Dr. Harb brings extensive procedural expertise developed through senior-level roles across multiple centers. His clinical practice encompasses coronary angiography, percutaneous coronary intervention, device implantation (pacemakers, ICDs, CRT-Ds, and leadless devices), pericardiocentesis, advanced imaging including intravascular ultrasound and functional flow reserve assessment, and structural interventions including left atrial appendage occlusion. He maintains proficiency in both transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography.

He holds fellowships from the European Society of Cardiology in Acute Cardiovascular Care, Adult Transthoracic Echocardiography, and Interventional Cardiology, alongside completion of heart failure management training through the Zurich Heart Center and British Society of Cardiology. Dr. Harb is fluent in Arabic, German, and English, and currently practices as a Senior Consultant at Burjeel Medical City, Abu Dhabi.
