Dr. Arun Saroha

Dr. Arun Saroha is one of India's most experienced neurosurgeons, with more than 28 years of expertise in treating brain and spine disorders. He serves as Vice Chairman & Unit Head — Spine & Neurosurgery at Max Hospital, Gurgaon. Prior to joining Max Healthcare, he was Head of Neurosurgery at Artemis Hospital and Paras Hospital, Gurgaon.

Over the course of his career, Dr. Saroha has performed more than 8,000 brain and spine surgeries successfully. His specialties include brain and spine tumours, minimal invasive spine surgery, degenerative spine disorders, functional and image-guided neurosurgery, complex spine fixations, and paediatric neurosurgery.

Dr. Saroha trained at PGIMER, Chandigarh — one of India's foremost neurosurgical training centres — where he completed his M.Ch in Neurosurgery. He further honed his skills with a visiting fellowship at Singapore General Hospital, Singapore, one of Asia's leading academic hospitals. He has been recognised as a Post-Graduate Neurosurgery Teacher by the National Board of Examinations.

His international reach extends beyond training: Dr. Saroha is a visiting consultant to hospitals in Kenya, Nigeria, Iraq, Uzbekistan, and Sudan, making him exceptionally attuned to the clinical needs and expectations of patients from these regions. He is a speaker at national and international conferences, has organised live spine surgery workshops and training courses, and has been recognised with multiple awards including Best Spine Surgeon (BIG Research Awards, New Delhi, 2013), Best Scientific Paper on Brain Tumor Research (NSICON, 2003), and Best Resident for Critical Care in Neurosurgery (PGIMER, 2002).
